Looking east across Port Jackson, Sydney from Brady Beach, McMahons Point, 10am Sat 13 June 2026. I took these photos while walking our dog. Around the inner city, the harbour is usually contained by fence wall so this juxtaposition of the iconic bridge and open sandy beach looks almost superimposed. You can see the bridge pylons and city buildings reflected in the water – the harbour was unusually still like a lake. Ominously, there was a shark attack and a separate drowning later that day in Sydney.
